We hear men make  small talk
To the wall if phone goes dead

Walls have ears we whisper in
Such that every body can hear

A  small talk ,as if it is big talk
Because white walls have ears

But they are hard of hearing,
Using hearing aids for poems.

Small talk is lyric poem prose
You whisper in the wall’s ears.

Walls are our dog-eared book
Full of our talk, small and big.
